Low-cost digital feedback, up to 12 pulses/revolution.
The Pulser
The Pulser delivers a single digital pulse train to provide
speed/position-control feedback from rotating devices such as
motors or conveyor rollers. Operating on 4.5 to 15 Vdc, Pulser
models produce from four to twelve well-defined square-wave pulses
per revolution. These high-reliability components offer a useful
way to measure incremental shaft position or to synchronize shafts
in variable-speed machinery.
Pulser output is unaffected by speed, magnetic interference, ferrous
dust, or minor mounting misalignment. Operating temperature range
is -4 to +158°F (-20 to +70°C).
The Pulser's small size (1.5" long, 1.2" dia) makes
it easy to use where space is limited.

Carrying the same basic specifications as the Pulser, the Pulser
option is available on 1.135" dc tachometer generators and
motors. This compact feedback device adds a single digital pulse
train to the analog output of other Servo-Tek rotating products.
The option increases the length of any standard Servo-Tek component
by only 1.25", helping to reduce the crowding often associated
with combined-technology devices.
